The Edit Menu contains the standard Macintosh editing functions including Cut, Copy, Paste, Clear and Select All. These are standard Macintosh commands used when editing text and do not vary from program to program. You can get more information about these commands, if you are new to Macintosh, in your Macintosh reference manual.
Other commands specific to Introspective are:
Insert Date
Inserts the current date at the insertion point (where the next text would be displayed when typed from the keyboard). The date inserted is in the long date format meaning that it will display something like this “Saturday, May 2, 1993.”
Insert Time
This inserts the current time at the insertion point (see Insert Date for an explanation of insertion point). The time inserted will include the seconds.
